Guitar Estates and collections are handled a little differently. Please see our buying process below or contact us for more details.
Buying Estates and Guitar Collections
Buying guitar collections and estates takes a little more work. Please make a list of your estate or collection providing as much information as possible from the “Guitar Information” list below. We will contact you to discuss your collection. We might either travel to your location or have you bring your collection in to our shop for a more detailed inspection. Once we have seen your guitars we can determine the condition we can make you a final offer. Every purchase is different, we do our best to accommodate your needs. Please contact us to discuss details about how we can buy your guitar collection.
Guitar Information We Need
We will need the same information we require for individual guitar purchases however if we have agreed to stop by in person you can provide a spread sheet or list with details then we can visually inspect each guitar when we visit you in person. The list of information for each guitar, amp or synth includes:
Brand
Model
Serial Number (if present)
Year you purchased the gear or approximately how long it’s been in you family
Any known modifications or repairs
A clear photo of the guitar front, back and repairs ( may not be required if we agree to an in-person inspection)
Your name and contact details. Please provide a city or region where the items are located.
Once we understand the gear you have for sale and the general condition we will either make a preliminary offer or agree to meet in person for a more detailed inspection and offer. Be sure to let us know your selling timeframe as we may have to make travel arrangements.
